My campsite is affected by a wildfire. What should I do?
Follow the advice of the campsite management and local authorities. Your safety comes first.
Am I covered?
Yes, if your stay is significantly affected. Vacanceselect Travel will decide if the Calamity Coverage takes place.
Depending on the situation, we may:
- refund unused nights
- reimburse up to 2 hotel nights while you wait to return
- help you rebook to another holiday within our portfolio. We will cover up to 125% of the original night price for the remaining nights.
Can I book a hotel myself?
Yes.
Please keep all receipts. We reimburse up to 2 hotel nights under the Calamity Coverage.
Can I leave early?
Yes.
If you cannot continue your stay because of the calamity, we will refund the unused nights of your accommodation.
Can you rebook my holiday?
We can only rebook to available accommodation within our own portfolio (Eurocamp/Homair/Roan)..
What documents do I need?
Please keep:
- hotel receipts
- written confirmation from the campsite if you leave early (if possible)

Not necessarily.
We are closely monitoring the situation with the campsite and local authorities and will contact you if your booking is affected.
What happens if the campsite cannot welcome me?
Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- an alternative holiday
- a rebooking voucher
- a full refund.
When can I receive a refund?
If the situation is still preventing your stay within 48 hours before arrival, you may choose a full refund under our Calamity Coverage.
Should I change my booking myself?
No.
